Hop on the Klipper
A 59-year-old classic bus, which has appeared on television and is believed to have over 1.5 million miles on the clock, returns to ferry passengers around Kendal. 
The kendal Klipper service will operate every half an hour, from 10.30am - 4.30pm, five days a week from Monday 21 July 2008 to Friday 29 August 2008.
The Kendal Klipper, a restored 1949 Leyland Tiger, which featured in Dr Findlay’s Casebook, can be used by both residents, or by visitors wanting to call at various tourist attractions. 
Stops include Kendal Parish Church, Highgate near the Shakespeare Hotel, the Quaker Tapestry and all the key town centre shopping and eating locations and markets.
